They're not lying when they say "Children are our future." We're gonna run this shit one day. Everyone else is gonna be dead and it'll be up to us to keep the world from totally destroying itself. And the way we're behaving, as a whole, has me extremely worried about the future of our planet. Majority of us are ignorant, good-for-nothing, idiots. I don't blame us. I mean, look what we were born into. All the other generations have already screwed this world up. And you know who's job it is to fix it? Ours. I vow, right now, that I will try my hardest to make a difference in the right direction. But you know what? I'm just one person. One teenager. I can't do it on my own. That's why I'm asking you guys for help. If we all take a stand, or even half of us, we can do a LOT. Leave a comment vowing you'll join me if you agree or if you've already been thinking about ths for a long time.
I'm not asking a lot.
- get an eduction
- help out your community or volunteer
- replace the anger and hate with smiles and love (sounds stupid, but trust me on this one.)
- get informed
- get passionate about something
- have an open-mind
- get rid of prejudice
- stick up for people
- hug someone (I'm totally serious)
- watch/listen to the news
- know what's going on in the world
- stick up for yourself
- respect yourself and everyone else even if you don't agree with them
- be nice
- don't litter and pick up trash if you see any
- be confident in who you are
- don't judge others
- don't be violent
- randomly complement someone (spread the happiness)
- and spread this blog around, too
Okay, that is a lot. And it seems silly. But it's a lot of really small things that'll make a big difference.
I'm not expecting to get a lot of comments or even for that many people to read this, but I gotta try.
Love,
Robynhood
